To assign access keywords to users
- Select File> System Setup to open the System Setup window.
- Click User Passwords to open the User Passwords window.
- Select the user that you want to assign access keywords to from the Current Users field and click Edit. If you are entering a new user, click New and enter the user information.
- Enter an authorization level for each module to which the user has access.
- Enter the access keywords, if any, for this user in the Access Keywords field, or click the Find icon to open the Select ACCESS_KEYWORDS value(s) window. The access keywords grant the user access to areas of functionality associated with the designated keyword.
Note: If you create access keywords and apply them to customer information areas, but leave the Access Keywords field on the user's User Passwords window blank, the user will not be able to enter or edit information in these customer information areas.
- Click Save.
- Exit and restart iMIS.
