To change the order of navigation links

The line in the Top.htm file that begins var toplink_order, is the line that sets the order of the links on your navigation bar. You can rearrange the order of the links without affecting iMIS performance in any way.

Caution! Create a backup of your existing files before making any changes to the iMIS desktop.

  1. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the \framework\HiRes\Main folder in the iMIS directory.
  2. Open the Top.htm file in an HTML editor or Windows Notepad.

    Note: If you edit the file in FrontPage, you will have to select the HTML tab at the bottom of the window.

  3. Scroll down to the ASI Configuration section of the file.
  4. Rearrange the order of the links listed on the line that begins
    var toplink_order.

    Note: The double forward slashes (//) at the left column indicate that the line is only an instruction to the programmer, and is not HTML code.

  5. Save the file.
