To set the date format

The date format defaults to D/M/CY (for example, 02/20/2004). If needed, override the default as follows:

  1. Select File> System Setup to open the System Setup window.
  2. Click the Edit.
  3. Override the default date format with a combination of Omnis variables that follow step 5.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Restart iMIS.

Note: For the best results, use a format that displays the entire four-digit year so that the user can verify the correct century. iMIS typically assumes a year of 79 or less to refer to the 21st century (2079 A.D.).
