To assign an activity task

  1. From Customers, select Manage customers to open the Customer Portfolio.
  2. Open a customer's record.
  3. Select the Calls tab.
  4. Place your cursor in the empty Date field next to the asterisk (*).
  5. Enter the current Date.
  6. Tab to the Note field, and enter a note.
  7. Tab to the Assigned to field to enable a drop-down list, and select an individual to which you want to assign the activity.

    Note: For task or call logging activities, the name or user ID for whom this reminder should be logged is entered in the Source field on the Set up activity types window. If Assigned To is entered in this field, the lookup feature is available for all user Ids. If the field is blank, the reminder message will display in all users' task activities.

  8. Enter a Follow Up Date for the individual assigned the activity to call the customer.
  9. Click Save.
