To edit an activity task

  1. From Customers, select View activity tasks to open the View activity tasks window.
  2. Enable All at the bottom of the window to view all of your activity tasks.
  3. Select a task to open the task in the Activity Detail window.
  4. Click Edit.
  5. Make any necessary edits.

    Note: When you are editing a task activity, you can resolve the task by entering follow-up notes and then deleting the follow-up task date.

    Note: Resolving the task does not delete that task from the user's activity history.

  6. You can also reassign the task to another user's ID (click the lookup icon to find the user) or reassign the task to a later date.
  7. Click Save on the Activity Detail window to update the activity task and close the window.
