From Exposition, select Set up an exposition, and double-click an exposition
Exposition Code
Enter a unique, abbreviated code that represents the exposition. Do not use spaces or special characters (such as "or"). The code can be any combination of letters and numbers as long as the code is different from that of other expositions being maintained in iMIS.
Title
Enter the name of the exposition you are defining. This title appears on windows and reports generated for this exposition.
Begin Date
Enter the start date of the exposition. The Begin Date determines the accounting method in which deferred income is transferred to current income for this exposition.
End Date
Enter the date the exposition ends.
Status
Enter the status of the exposition:
Note: An exposition must have a pending (P) status to use the Booth Preferences Management feature.
Entity Code
Enter the entity assigned to the exposition income account if using the non-default exposition entity (a blank field uses the default). Select the Find icon to look up an entity.
The Entity Code field displays only if you enable multiple entities on the AR/Cash Set up module window (where you also can change the default entity). Early Cutoff
Enter the last calendar date a discounted rate can be applied for early orders.
Reg Cutoff
Enter the last calendar date the regular rate can be applied. If regular and late fees are set up as part of the exposition definition, any orders after the regular cutoff date are automatically charged the late fee. If you do not charge a higher fee for late orders, leave this field blank.
Totals
Exhibitors - Displays the total number of exhibitors.
Cancellations - Displays the total number of cancellations.
Exposition Category
Enable the applicable category.
Tax Authority
(Canadian tax only) Enter the tax code used for the exposition. Select the Find icon to look up the current tax codes defined on the Set up tax codes window (from AR/Cash, select Set up tables > Tax codes).
The Tax Authority field displays only if the Canadian Taxation Method is enabled on the Organization Names window (File> System Setup, click Organization Names).
Exposition Products
Displays the products defined for the exposition on the Exposition Product Detail window.
