The prompts for the following fields on the Issue window can be configured:
Note: If you configure the prompt for the Company field on the Issue window, the same prompt is also used for the Company field on the View and enter issues window.
Note: If you configure the prompt for the Client ID field on the Issue window, the same prompt is also used for the Client ID field on the View and enter issues window.
The prompts for the following fields on the Resolution window can be configured:
The field names for configurable field prompts can contain a maximum of 15 characters, including any spaces. Due to display limitations, the number of characters that can be displayed in a field prompt without being truncated by the field itself varies. Uppercase characters and special characters require more display space than lowercase characters, and the amount of space available varies depending on the specific prompt that is being configured. To maximize the number of characters that can be displayed without the prompt characters being truncated by the field itself, use lowercase characters. If all uppercase characters are used for a prompt, the maximum number of characters per line that can be displayed is nine. Depending on the specific field and the actual characters used for the prompt, the maximum number of uppercase characters that can be displayed may be less than nine.
The prompt for the Release Notes field on the Resolution window can be displayed in two lines by including a space in the prompt that is specified in the Release Notes field on the Issues Set up module window. If the prompt includes a space so that the prompt is displayed in two lines, the prompt is displayed centered vertically with the field.
In the following example, the Company prompt on the Issue window has been configured to display Organization, but the modified prompt contains too many characters to display and the prompt is truncated by the field itself.

The following example illustrates the effective use of confiResolution window (from Issues, select View and enter issues, open an issue, and then click Resolution).
