Creating Access Keywords

The use of access keyword security is implemented in three stages:

  1. Create and populate the ACCESS_KEYWORDS general lookup/validation table.
  2. Assign the access keywords to the customer information areas you wish to secure. The customer information areas to which access keywords can be assigned include:
    • Custom windows
    • Reports
    • Activity records
    • Financial tab
    • Internet Security tab
    • Fund Raising tab
    • Customer address information
    • Customer status information
  3. Assign one or more access keywords to each user to enable access to the protected information.

    Note: Users must have a Sys mgmt authorization level of 8 and database owner privileges to assign access keywords.
