Uninstalling iMIS Analytics

Because iMIS Analytics comprises SQL Server and Analysis Services databases, Data Transformation Services (DTS) packages, jobs, and Briefing Book files for ProClarity Professional, the Windows uninstall process cannot completely remove all iMIS Analytics components. After removing iMIS Analytics by using the Windows Add or Remove Programs utility, you must also manually remove some iMIS Analytics components.

To uninstall iMIS Analytics from the iMIS Analytics host

  1. On the iMIS Analytics host, choose Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs.

    The Add or Remove Programs window appears.

  2. From the program list, select Analytics and click Change/Remove.

    The iMIS Analytics - InstallShield Wizard appears.

  3. Select the Remove option and click Next.

    A message prompts you to confirm that you want to remove iMIS Analytics.

  4. Click Yes.

    The Setup Status page displays the status of the uninstallation as it progresses. When the uninstallation is complete, the Uninstall Complete page appears.

  5. Click Finish.
  6. Use Enterprise Manager to remove the following SQL Server components in the local default instance:
    • The database named Analytics
    • The DTS local package named Update iMIS Analytics
    • The SQL Server Agent job named Update Analytics
  7. Use Analysis Manager to remove the analysis database named iAnalytics.
