Managing Proximity Assignments

Booth proximity is the relative closeness of one booth to another within a specific area on the exposition floor. Using the Proximity Assignments window, you can assign booths to specific areas on the exposition floor.

For example, if you do not want vendors with competitive products to be within five booths of each other, then define your proximity assignments so that these vendors are not near one another.

Note: When you define proximity assignments, you must assign at least one booth to an exposition area.

You also can use proximity assignments to group certain types of vendors. For example, you may define an area specifically for research companies.
