To define other products and pricing

Products other than booth products are defined with a type of Other or Paid Pass. For example, a registration fee may be defined with a type of Other.

Products with a type of Other or Paid Pass can also be used in the EXPOCAD Product Mapping window as Premiums. For example, you could set up one iMIS booth product code that is the base booth and fee, the set up additional charges with a type of Other to be used as Premium codes.

  1. Open the Exposition Definition window (select Expo> Define/Plan Exposition, double-click exposition).
  2. Click Insert in the window. The Exposition Product Detail window opens.
  3. Enter a unique Product Code (for example, CORNERFEE).
  4. Enter a Title of up to 60 alphanumeric characters (for example, Corner Fee).
  5. (Optional) Enter a Product Description (for example, Additional fee for corner booth).
  6. Enable the Paid Pass, or Other option to designate the type of product.

    Note: Products that are going to be used as Premium products on the EXPOCAD Product Mapping window must be enabled as Other or Paid Pass.

    Note: Once Paid Pass or Other is selected, the Booth Width and Booth Length fields are disabled.

  7. Click More and select Fees.
  8. The fees entered for a Paid Pass or Other type product use pricing based on Quantity, regardless of the measurement selected in the ExpoCad System Options window (Expo> System Setup, ExpoCad button). In the following example, we set the rate for a corner booth fee to $1000.00 (regular default registration)
  9. Click OK.
  10. Click X to close the Exposition Booth & Product Fees window.
  11. Click X to close the Exposition Product Detail window.
  12. Repeat the process to enter additional products.
