EXPOCAD Interface Capabilities

The EXPOCAD interface automates the booth inventory process. Your initial floor layout and booth numbering provide standards for a database of exposition booths. With EXPOCAD booths, you can create islands and peninsulas, or booths can be combined to conform to your layout needs.

The following diagram shows how the EXPOCAD interface works. Exhibitor names are imported using an independent iMISFind application. You can also import Member Type and member ID from one iMIS exhibitor at a time to an EXPOCAD Master Exhibitor database. All booth renting activity takes place in EXPOCAD, and is stored in a temporary interface file called ExpoCadExp. Information in the ExpoCadExp file is then exported into iMIS for order processing.
