To define booth products and pricing

The booth product and booth pricing you enter will depend on whether you selected Quantity or Area (Square Units) as the measurement to use with your orders (Expo> System Setup, ExpoCad button). For example, if you selected Quantity as the measurement, and you had a booth defined as 10' x 10' with a fee of $2,000.00. The total cost charged for renting three booths would be $6,000.00.

  1. Open the Exposition Definition window (select Expo> Define/Plan Exposition, double-click exposition).
  2. Click Insert in the window. The Exposition Product Detail window opens.
  3. Enter a unique Product Code (for example, BOOTH).
  4. Enter a Title of up to 60 alphanumeric characters (for example, 10 x 10 Booth).
  5. (Optional) Enter a Product Description (for example, 10 x 10 Booth).
  6. The data entered in the Booth Length and Booth Width fields are dependent on the measurement selected in the ExpoCad System Options window (Expo> System Setup, ExpoCad button). If the measurement used for orders is based on:
    • Quantity, enter the Booth Length and Booth Width. If you omit the booth length and booth width, a system message indicating that this is required will display.
    • Area (Square Units), leave the Booth Length and Booth Width blank.
  7. Enable the Booth option to designate the type of product.
  8. Click More and select Fees. The Exposition Booth & Product Fees window opens.
  9. The fees entered for a Booth type product are dependent on the measurement selected in the ExpoCad System Options window (Expo> System Setup, ExpoCad button). If the measurement used for orders is based on:
    • Quantity, enter the price per booth. In the following example, we set the rate for a 10' x 10' booth for a member to $2,000.00 (early registration), $2,500.00 (regular registration), and $3,000.00 (late registration).
    • Area (Square Units), enter the price per square unit. In the following example, we set the rate for a 100 square unit booth to 20.00 per square unit (members early registration). The total cost for a 100 square unit booth would be calculated by multiplying 20 by 100 square units for a total cost of $2,000.00).
  10. Click OK.
  11. Click X to close the Exposition Booth & Product Fees window.
  12. Click X to close the Exposition Product Detail window.
  13. Repeat the process to enter additional products.
