iMIS Table Layout

The Name family of tables holds information about customers, prospects, subscribers, and any other individuals or companies for whom you want to keep information. These tables are as follows:

Name

For each name record in the Name file, there is always a corresponding record in the Name_Address and Name_Fin files. The Name table consists of the following:

Name_Address

The Name_Address file contains an unlimited number of addresses for each record in the Name file.

Name_Fin

The Name_Fin file contains financial and other associated data on your customers. ID is the primary key that references back to the Name table.

Name_Demo

The Name_Demo file contains user-defined fields, check box fields, and list string fields. You can customize these fields with your association's demographic data.

Name_Indexes

This file is automatically populated by iMIS and contains index information based on user-definable indexes that were created during Customer module setup.

Name_Note

The Name_Note file contains optional note fields specified for a customer.

Name_Picture

The Name_Picture file contains bit map images of customers.

Name_Log

The Name_Log file stores a log of the changes made to the database and who made the change. You have the ability to customize the information you want to store.

Activity

The Activity file contains historical records for various modules in iMIS:

Items that are included in this file are customer history information such as event attendance, billing payments, products ordered, and user-defined items such as a call log.

Lookup and Validation Tables

During system setup, your System Administrator must set up a number of small tables to provide lookup choices and validation during data entry for coded fields such as committees, chapters, and customer types.

Customizer Tables

The iMIS Customizer lets you create many user-defined fields, windows, and tables during module setup. The user-defined windows make it easy to store and access demographics and other customizable data. To access the Customizer, from Customers, select Set up module > General, and click Additional Windows.
