To create a new billing category
- From Customers, select Set up module > General to open the Set up general options window.
- Click Basic Options to open the Customers Setup - Basic Options window.
- Click Edit.
- Enable the Use Bill Categories option.
- Click Save.
- From Customers, select Set up tables > General lookup/validation to open the Set up general lookup/validation window.
- Select CATEGORY from the tables drop-down list.
- Click New.
- Enter the billing Code.
- Enter a Description that will help identify the billing code.
- Click Save.
