Managing Wait Lists

Wait listing is a strategy to help you manage booth inventory by allowing an exhibitor the opportunity to purchase a currently unavailable booth product if it becomes available later. Booth products become available when an exhibitor cancels a booth or when more booths are added to the floor plan.

The wait list option is triggered when a product order exceeds the maximum number of units designated for a particular product. An exhibitor can be placed on a wait list even if the maximum number has not been exceeded or if no maximum has been set. iMIS displays a warning message when the maximum number of booths is exceeded. This allows you to add the exhibitor to the wait list on the Wait List Processing window.

You can process an order with a wait-listed booth product in one of three ways:

To cancel an order for a wait-listed booth
