To enter a new company record

  1. From Customers, select Manage customers to open the Customer Portfolio.
  2. Click New.
  3. (Required) Select a Member Type description from the Member Type drop-down list and press Tab.
  4. Tab to the Company ID field and enter the company name or click the lookup icon to open the Find Company window and search available company records (See To find a company record).

    Note: When entering a new record, Company Name is required.

    Note: Company Sort is populated after you tab out of the Company Name field.

  5. Click Save, or to continue with entering an address for this company customer record, see the next section.
