To define user-defined lookup indexes

  1. From Customers, select Set up module > General, and click Indexes to open the Customer Setup - Indexes window.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Enter a label in the Prompt section (Index 1, Index 2, Index 3, and Index 4) to represent the index to display in the Find window.
  4. Enter the field name or formula in the Field/Formula section to define the label.
  5. Click Save.
