The CMAS Program

The Association of Certified Medical Accounting Specialists offers certification to individuals in the medical accounting field who are not interested in becoming Certified Public Accountants, but who would like to earn the Certified Medical Accounting Specialist (CMAS) designation. This designation requires an entry fee, the completion of required credit hours, and a passing grade on a written examination. In addition, there are specific requirements for maintaining the CMAS designation.
