To enter an address

To enter an address for one or more of the purposes established on the Customer Setup -- Address and Notes window, select any of the primary Address tabs.

Note: When Accumail is licensed and installed, the City and State fields are automatically updated from Accumail. See the Accumail Implementation and Prosort User Guide for further details.

  1. Enter Address 1 and press Tab.
  2. (Optional) Enter Address 2 and press Tab.

  3. Enter the City and press Tab.
  4. (Optional) Select a State from the drop-down list, or enter the state code and press Tab.

    Note: When selecting a state from the drop-down list, the state name will convert to the state code.

  5. (Optional) Enter a Zip code and press Tab.
  6. (Optional) Select a Mail Code from the drop-down list and press Tab.
  7. (Optional) Select a Country from the drop-down list.
  8. (Optional) Enable Preferred Mail if applicable. This option can be enabled for one address only.
  9. (Optional) Enable Preferred Bill if applicable. This option can be enabled for one address only.
  10. Click Save
  11. (Optional) Select New to open the New Address window.
  12. Select an address purpose from the drop-down list.
  13. Click OK.

    Note: Once a New Address purpose has been used, it will not display in the drop-down list on the New Address window.

    Note: Once all New Address purposes have been used, the New tab will not display.

    Note: When Accumail is licensed and installed, the Verify Addresses option is available.
