To change the background color using no gradient

To modify the task frame with a non-gradient color scheme you must make your changes in the navstyle256.css file.

Caution! Create a backup of your existing files before making any changes to the iMIS desktop.

Open Window Explorer and navigate to the \framework\Main folder in your iMIS directory.

  1. Rename the navstyle.css file (for example, navstyleHiColor.css), and then rename the navstyle256.css file to navstyle.css.
  2. Open the navstyle.css file using Windows Notepad or an HTML editor such as FrontPage.
  3. Find and replace occurrences of the following default background colors with your new colors:

Note: You can use either Netscape color names (for example, SteelBlue, SkyBlue) or HTML numeric equivalents (for example, 003366, 453389).

    • LightSeaGreen (3399CC) - refers to the shaded area that displays when you select a module from the navigation bar and a task list item. For example, if you select Customers from the navigation bar and Manage customers from the tasklist.
    • SteelBlue (003366) - refers to the background of the tasklist area.
    • SkyBlue (00CCFF) - refers to the border of the tasklist area.
  4. Save the file.
