Installing the iMIS Analytics Briefing Book on client computers

Users in the organization who have ProClarity Desktop Professional installed on their computer can use the supplied iMIS Analytics Briefing Book to analyze the data on the iMIS Analytics host. You must copy the Briefing Book from the iMIS Analytics host to each user's computer and use ProClarity's Change Connection Information Wizard to configure each copy of the iMIS Analytics Briefing Book to connect to the iMIS Analytics host.

Before you begin

To install the iMIS Analytics Briefing Book on client computers

Note: See your ProClarity Professional documentation for more information about performing the following steps.

  1. Use Windows Explorer to copy the iMIS Analytics.bbk file from the data folder of the iMIS Analytics program folders (usually C:\Program Files\ASI\Analytics).
  2. Paste the iMIS Analytics.bbk file into an appropriate folder in the client computer's installation of ProClarity Desktop Professional.
  3. Open the iMIS Analytics.bbk file in ProClarity Desktop Professional.
  4. If the Briefing Book prompts you to enter a network password, dismiss the prompt and any subsequent prompts that might appear.

    The iMIS Analytics Briefing Book appears, but it displays no data.

  5. Change the connection information for the briefing book.
    1. In ProClarity Professional, run the Change Network Information Wizard.
    2. In the wizard, change the Server Name to the network computer name of the iMIS Analytics host.
